Specifications
This product is currently sold out.
Harvested in mid-to-late September from our home vineyard at McLean Creek Road in Okanagan Falls. The sparse, sloping, sandy alluvial/glacial gravels and sandy loams support five Pommard and Dijon clones (114, 115, 91, 667, 777) each farmed (not certified) organically, plot by plot. The wine was aged in French oak (25% new) for 11 months.
We were pleased to have received 91 points and a feature in Wine Align's Guide to Canada's Best in 2020 along with a thoughtful review and 90 points from wine writer and critic Anthony Gismondi in Gismondi on Wine.
"Earthy, sour cherry, raspberry over a spicy forest floor base. The balance is perfect, the alcohol a modest 13.5 percent, but the good news is you can enjoy it now. It was perfect with a curry chicken dish." - Anthony Gismondi
