Thank you Beppi Crosariol for the great write up in The Globe and Mail this month, Beppi scored our just released 2012 McLean Creek Chardonnay an incredible 92 points!
Beppi says “Meyer is an Okanagan star, born – unlike literal stars – just six years ago. The small estate, owned by Jak Meyer and wife Janice Stevens-Meyer, is focused on chardonnay and pinot noir, chief white and red grapes, respectively, of Burgundy, the undisputed wine-nerd capital of the world. What a gem this is, thousands of kilometres from fancy-wine France. It’s soft and seductive, with come-hither tropical fruit followed by buttered popcorn and toasty, doughy bread.”
